Halfway There
Sometimes we reach
so very far
that we wonder if
we will ever
get there
We set goals
for ourselves
sometimes
unrealistic goals
to attain
but we try
Goals are for the strong
we reach for them
we yearn for them
we try and we go
way out there for them
Halfway there
to attaining
a goal
says to oneself
"I can do this, oh yes I can"!
I am reaching for the goal line
I want to get there in time
for I am strong
I can accomplish much
for I am truly
halfway there
